Biography
Bent Ottesen is a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology and is the director of project called The Future of the Juliane Marie Centre at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Professor Bent Ottesen was in 1986 rewarded with Martha Margaret and Christian Hermansen's Grant and in 1988 by Consul General Waldemar Joseph Glyckstadts Grant for promotion of medical research 1988. He received the Codan price in 1996 and was announced Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 2004 - first degree in 2010. In addition he received the Top Denmark Foundation Communications Award in 2007 and the August Krogh Price in 2009.
